 from Anne Brown
I love handmade gifts! Anne made a beautiful layout that she will frame and present as a birthday gift for her co-worker who traveled to Ireland with her sister.  What a fantastic remembrance!
Some of the embossing is more subtle and some is more evident.  Can you tell which pieces are embossed?  Please visit Anne’s blog for lots of up close photos and details about how she created this layout.

Amy also shares a tutorial at her blog for the sometimes more challenging “Masculine” Layout. As someone with a house full of boys, I feel like this tutorial is my pot of inspiration gold!
from Amy Prior
"I simply loved getting messy while creating this layout. It was my first attempt at a really grungy mixed media project because the object of my scrapping is more often than not my 2 gorgeous princesses. I thoroughly enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone with this one and I have a great tutorial for some of the techniques I have used over on my blog."

fromErika Taylor
I'm over the rainbow with delight looking at this precious Home Decor masterpiece put together by Erika. For the wooden heart she used a combination of WOW! Embossing powders in Regular Gold, Earthtone Olive and Tea Garden Green. The horse shoe and coins have been embossed with Regular Gold as well.  Erika says she loves embossing entire surfaces with multiple colors to create depth and interest.

fromIrit Shalom
I love how Erika used a number of embellishments on her project. Often, I find that handmade embellishments add the perfect final touch to most projects and the budget is always one size fits all.

You'd almost think that Irit had the magic touch to turn chipboard into gold. She really just used WOW! powders and embossed a chipboard key, lock, frame and the house shape, plastic buttons and paper flowers for this fantastic piece. She used three different gold powders from WOW!
The chipboard’s coverage is just perfect.

There is no need to feel overwhelmed by a 12x12in blank page, a stack of photos and no time.
Julia shows us how to put together a number of photos on a less intimidating 8x10in format without giving up style.  With a grid layout, several photos, patterned papers and an elegant sheet music background stamp and green embossing powders, she conveys a full story of how lucky her daughter felt to play with her middle school band at Disneyland.

from Sherrie Suttles

Sherrie’s place sounds like the place to be on St. Patrick’s Day. She says, “Altering this wooden window frame was so much fun. For my husband’s side of the family St. Patrick’s Day is a big deal and since it is getting close we are all getting excited. Everyone puts on their Irish t-shirts and other items and celebrates their family’s heritage. We always have corn beef, cabbage and potatoes for dinner. I even started making pistachio salad for desert (just because its green and everyone loves it!) The kids drink green Kool-Aid or put food coloring in clear pop/water to make it green. But one thing we are very picky about is our clovers - its 3 leaves for us!”
I love the use of green and yellow for this themed page!

from Jennifer Deal
Finally, I have to tell you how lucky I am. I have a wonderful family, husband, I love my job, and I finally, finally, finally took some time off. My honey and I visited one of my favorite cities, Seattle. I know it's the middle of winter and rainy in the Pac Northwest, but I live in Sunny California. I'm okay a bit of seasonal change.

We were so lucky to stay at the beautiful Fairmont Olympic Hotel. It's an original historical landmark known as the Georgian.  I was inspired by Italian Renaissance architecture and beautiful antique furniture. You'll see more inspired artwork on my blog over the next few weeks. What I have to share with you today is an elegant 6x6in card using one of our newest stamp sets.
